This 16×2 character LCD provides a highly readable yellow-green display for microcontroller and electronics projects. It can display 16 characters per line across two lines and is suitable for displaying numerical values, text messages, system status, sensor readings and simple menus.
The module comes with its I2C backpack already soldered, eliminating one of the common difficulties beginners experience with conventional 16×2 LCD modules.
Instead of connecting numerous LCD pins individually, the display requires only:
VCC, GND, SDA and SCL.
This reduces wiring, saves microcontroller GPIO pins and makes projects easier to assemble and troubleshoot.
An onboard potentiometer allows the contrast to be adjusted for clear character visibility. The display works with commonly used Arduino I2C LCD libraries and is suitable for students, hobbyists, makers and embedded-system developers.
The I2C adapter is already installed – no additional soldering is required.
