The I2C LCD Backpack is a plug-and-play adapter that simplifies the connection of 16×2 and 20×4 LCD displays to Arduino, Raspberry Pi, and ESP8266. Instead of using multiple parallel data pins, this I2C module allows you to control the LCD with just two I2C pins (SDA & SCL), saving valuable GPIOs for other components.
