How the 3.7V Battery Protection Board Works

The protection board monitors the connected lithium battery and controls the charging and discharging paths through its MOSFET switching circuit.

Overcharge Protection: When battery voltage exceeds the specified upper threshold, the circuit interrupts charging current to prevent further charging.

Over-discharge Protection: When battery voltage falls below the lower protection threshold, the module disconnects the load to limit excessive discharge.

Overcurrent Protection: The module interrupts the discharge path when current exceeds its protection threshold.

Short-Circuit Protection: The protection circuit detects excessive current caused by a short circuit and disconnects the affected current path.
