The NRF24L01+ PA/LNA Long-Range Wireless Transceiver Module is a high-performance 2.4GHz RF module designed for reliable two-way wireless communication between Arduino, ESP32, STM32, Raspberry Pi and other microcontroller systems.
Unlike the standard NRF24L01+, this version incorporates a Power Amplifier (PA) to increase transmission power and a Low Noise Amplifier (LNA) to improve receiver sensitivity. It also includes an external SMA antenna, allowing communication distances of up to approximately 800–1100 metres under clear line-of-sight conditions. Actual range depends on antenna placement, interference, power supply quality and surrounding obstacles.
The module communicates through the SPI interface and supports selectable data rates of 250kbps, 1Mbps and 2Mbps. It also supports automatic acknowledgement, retransmission and multiple communication channels, making it suitable for wireless sensor networks, robotics, telemetry, remote-control systems and IoT projects.
The module operates from a 3.3V supply and can draw approximately 115mA during high-power transmission. For reliable operation, a stable 3.3V supply with adequate current capability is recommended rather than relying directly on a low-current microcontroller 3.3V output.
