Description

The Solderless Breadboard MB-102 830-Hole is a reusable electronic prototyping board designed for assembling, testing and modifying circuits without soldering. It provides a convenient way for students, engineers, electronics hobbyists and DIY makers to experiment with electronic components before creating permanent circuits.

With 830 connection points, this full-size breadboard provides enough space for a wide range of electronics projects, from simple LED and resistor circuits to microcontroller-based systems involving Arduino, ESP32, Raspberry Pi and sensor modules.

The breadboard features 630 connection points in the central prototyping area and 200 additional points in its power distribution rails. The red and blue markings make it easier to organize positive power and ground connections, helping users keep their circuits neat and easy to troubleshoot.

The MB-102 uses internal metal contacts to connect components electrically. Resistors, LEDs, capacitors, transistors, integrated circuits and jumper wires can be inserted and removed repeatedly without the need for soldering.

Its standard 2.54mm connection spacing also accommodates many through-hole components and DIP integrated circuits.

Whether you are learning electronics, testing a circuit design, developing an Arduino project or conducting STEM laboratory practicals, the MB-102 breadboard provides a flexible and convenient platform for circuit development.

How Does the MB-102 Breadboard Work?

A solderless breadboard contains conductive metal strips underneath its plastic surface. These metal contacts connect groups of holes, allowing electronic components to be joined electrically without soldering.

The main prototyping area contains two groups of five connected holes in each numbered row. A central channel separates these groups, allowing DIP integrated circuits to be inserted without short-circuiting their opposite pins.

The red and blue power rails are typically used to distribute positive voltage and ground across the circuit.

To build a circuit, insert the required components into the appropriate holes and connect them using jumper wires. You can then supply power, test the circuit and make changes whenever necessary.

Important Usage Notes

  • Use this breadboard for low-voltage, low-current circuit prototyping.
  • Do not connect it directly to 230V AC mains power.
  • The breadboard does not generate or supply power on its own.
  • Check power-rail continuity before use, as some versions have split rails.
  • Avoid forcing oversized component leads into the connection holes.
  • Disconnect the power supply before modifying the circuit.
